My First David Lynch Experience

I first became aware of David Lynch through Rush. Rush were huge fans of Lynch’s film Eraser Head. A giant poster can be seen in the background of many early 80’s pics of the band.

So my fellow Rush friends and I rented Eraser Head.

To say I wasn’t ready for it, is an understatement of maximum proportions.

That didn’t matter.

Of course long before that, I saw Dune but really didn’t know who David Lynch was, however, I did dig the total weird approach of Dune. Yes, Lynch has disowned it but I still dig the oddness of it. 

Thanks for the strange memories Mr. Lynch.
