Jenny's Journey

One of the true joys of being in the Stoneham Writers Group is that I get to help people improve their work but above and beyond that is the great rush of pleasure when I see their finished work published.

Eileen Hugo has been working on Jenny’s Journey for a long time. Now at last its out in print.

Here’s a link to the book.

Jenny’s Journey is the semi-true story of a colourful, wilful, Irish immigrant named Jenny who makes her way to America in 1928 to build a better life for her family. Jenny puts her family far above herself. Like everyone in life, Jenny has a lot to learn and goes through more than a few changes.

The book gives arresting insights into the day to day lives of the working class people of Massachusetts during that era.

I’m almost done reading the book myself.

Thanks for writing it Eileen, and for being a member of the Stoneham Writers Group!

Yours in Writing,
