The Journals of Ed Teal

When I was cleaning out Ed’s house I found his journals. He started keeping them when he was ten and kept right going until he died of a heart attack at age sixty.

Ed was one of my best friends. He had never mentioned the journals to me despite us knowing each other almost our entire lives. Yet I know what he wrote in them was true.

Because of this line Ed wrote every single day.

“Don’t be afraid to tell someone that you love them everyday.”

Ed did that very thing everyday, I can’t count how many times he was never ashamed to say he loved me. 

Ed was right. No need to be afraid of love. Tell someone what you feel. It may be the last chance you get. 

I still have Ed's journals. I’m reading them. They are beautiful.

Benefit for the ACLU

Art for Sale 3

A few blogs ago I mentioned the passing of my friend TG Yearwood an artist, photographer and writer.

TG had sent me some photos to sell at shows that I was involved in (goth fests, shows to promote my book, etc.)

Well, I still have a number of photos that he sent me.

I am now going to offer them for sale online.

The money raised from the sales will go to the American Diabetes Foundation https://diabetes.org/

200 Year Old Trees

Leslie university bought this lot with 200 year old trees and chopped them all down

It made me feel like wet death on cold toast. I read all these rare books about philosophers in the 19th century and they predicted this great darkness that would be what we’re living in now and it would be enabled by corporate automatons you could be a friendly automaton. I haven’t decided yet.

 We did a fun set of improvised music and wordy rambles.

Get Off My Blog

Just a few disconnected rants as I shake my ineffectual fist at the indifferent air.

1. Movies are just too long now. So many modern movies would be better if they were shorter. Not every movie needs to be three hours long. Most shouldn’t be even close to that long.

2. What’s the deal with not capitalising the first letter of every word in a title?

3. Nazis are never cool. They are always wrong.

4. Why is the back of my head shaped like a baked potato?
